While Jen was studying abroad in London, she had an internship at Index on Censorship. You will see from their website, that Jen made a perfect choice in working there. “Index is a nonprofit that campaigns for and defends free expression worldwide. We publish work by censored writers and artists, promote debate, and monitor free speech. We believe that everyone should be free to express themselves without fear of harm or persecution - no matter what their views.”

Jen wrote for the US Quidditch Association. Her editor wrote a nice tribute to her, and shared links to her work. For those not familiar with Harry Potter, quidditch is a sport played on broomsticks. It is only natural that Jen followed her love of Harry Potter and found this organization.
